Key Responsibilities
Site Management
- Supervise daily construction activities to ensure alignment with project plans.
- Monitor and enforce project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with contractors suppliers and architects.
Team Supervision
- Assign tasks and monitor the performance of site workers.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure productivity.
- Address and resolve conflicts or issues among team members.
Quality Assurance
- Inspect work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and address any deviations or issues promptly.
- Review and approve materials tools and equipment used onsite.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Enforce health and safety regulations onsite.
- Conduct regular safety audits and drills.
- Report and address incidents or hazards immediately.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities including progress reports labor and material usage.
- Submit timely updates to the Project Manager or stakeholders.
Requirements
Education & Certification
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
- Professional certification in construction supervision or safety (e.g. OSHA NEBOSH) is a plus.
Experience
- 3 years of experience as a site supervisor or similar role.
- Proven track record of successful construction project management.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of construction methods materials and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in reading blueprints schematics and construction documents.
- Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with construction software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD MS Project).
- Ability to use basic surveying equipment and tools.
