Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Site Management

• Supervise daily construction activities to ensure alignment with project plans.
  
• Monitor and enforce project timelines and budgets.
  
• Coordinate with contractors suppliers and architects.
  

Team Supervision

• Assign tasks and monitor the performance of site workers.
  
• Provide guidance and support to ensure productivity.
  
• Address and resolve conflicts or issues among team members.
  

Quality Assurance

• Inspect work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  
• Identify and address any deviations or issues promptly.
  
• Review and approve materials tools and equipment used onsite.
  

Health & Safety Compliance

• Enforce health and safety regulations onsite.
  
• Conduct regular safety audits and drills.
  
• Report and address incidents or hazards immediately.
  

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of daily activities including progress reports labor and material usage.
  
• Submit timely updates to the Project Manager or stakeholders.

Requirements

Education & Certification

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
  
• Professional certification in construction supervision or safety (e.g. OSHA NEBOSH) is a plus.
  

Experience

• 3 years of experience as a site supervisor or similar role.
  
• Proven track record of successful construction project management.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of construction methods materials and regulations.
  
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  
• Proficient in reading blueprints schematics and construction documents.
  
• Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.
  
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  

Technical Knowledge

• Familiarity with construction software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD MS Project).
  
• Ability to use basic surveying equipment and tools.
