Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Geospatial Program Manager to lead and coordinate our geospatial projects. The ideal candidate will oversee project planning manage crossfunctional teams drive business development and implement operational improvements to ensure the successful delivery of geospatial solutions. Strong leadership strategic planning and technical expertise in GIS are essential for this role. This is a remote work option position.
The responsibilities of this role include but may not be limited to the following:
- Manages more complex projects that tend to be larger in scope and dollar thereby increasing the potential for larger change orders and consequences of error.
- May act independently as the IE representative with consulting firms and ensures that the final product reflects the original scope and budget requirements.
- Manages projects which have great complexity
- Leadership of direct reports.
- Mentor and train junior level staff
Qualifications :
Minimum;
- BA/BS 8 years or relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Recent and relevant experience in a leading Geospatial role with demonstrated business development and operations improvements experience
- Client facing experience
- Professional Land Surveyor
- Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required
Preferred:
- Certified Photogrammetrist
- GIS Professional (GISP) certification
