Job Title: QA Automation & Testing Engineer (Consulting)
Location: Hybrid/Office/Client Site
- Fulltime / Regular W2 role No C2C

Job Description:
Our client a major IT Consulting firm is seeking a highly skilled QA Automation & Testing Engineer Consultant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing a passion for quality and experience in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks for mobile and web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated test plans for mobile and web platforms.
- Design build and maintain robust automation frameworks to support scalable testing solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Utilize a variety of tools and frameworks for UI and functional testing.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines and maintain version control systems.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues found during testing and document results.
- Work with databases and APIs to validate backend functionalities.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of professional experience in software testing or automation development.
- Expertise in mobile and web application testing methodologies and tools.
- Handson experience designing and implementing custom test automation frameworks.
- Proficiency with test automation tools such as Appium Selenium or similar.
- Skilled in programming languages such as Python JavaScript Java Ruby or Groovy.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit TestNG or Cucumber.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins).
- Working knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) for test validation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with modern test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework or Playwright.
- Familiarity with native mobile testing tools like XCUITest Espresso or UIAutomator.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and testing strategies.
- Cypress Selenium Cucumber
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
