Job Description:
The PR MANAGER will manage and shape the image of an organization through communication and building positive relationships influencing public perception. PR can be divided into several categories based on the target task methods and goals:
1. Media Relations
- Purpose: Build and maintain good relationships with the media through press releases media interviews and news articles to promote positive information about the organization or individual.
- Content: Writing and distributing press releases media receptions arranging press interviews etc.
2. Crisis Management / Public Relations
- Purpose: Handle and resolve issues quickly and effectively during an emergency or negative publicity controlling and repairing the public image to minimize damage to the organization or brand.
- Content: Crisis response strategies information release media communication public opinion management etc.
3. Brand Public Relations
- Purpose: Enhance brand value and consumer awareness by building and maintaining a positive brand image.
- Content: Brand image creation brand storytelling product launches etc.
4. Corporate Public Relations
- Purpose: Improve the overall company image and maintain good relationships with external stakeholders (such as investors government consumers etc.).
- Content: Company news corporate culture corporate social responsibility activities etc.
5. Government Relations
- Purpose: Help the organization build and maintain good relations with government departments influence policymaking or improve the policy environment.
