Principal Engineer Switchyard
Location: Juno Beach FL or Remote
Estimated Duration: 12 months

Position Overview:
Join a dynamic Engineering & Construction Business Unit as a Principal Engineer specializing in switchyard design and implementation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead critical infrastructure projects from conception through construction and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead switchyard projects from earlystage development through completion
- Provide technical oversight and training for external engineers
- Coordinate with project stakeholders and transmission owners
- Manage engineering consulting resources and material procurement
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Support commissioning activities and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering
- 7 years experience in HV substation/switchyard design and engineering
- Strong project engineering/management background
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with IEEE NESC and ASCE standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- PE license or PMP certification
- Experience with renewable energy projects
- Proven track record of successful project delivery
