Lead the end-to-end UX design process, from research and user analysis to ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and designers, to create innovative solutions that meet business objectives and user needs
Develop and maintain style guides, design systems, and other tools to ensure consistency and quality across all ACS products and services
Conduct user research and usability testing to gain insights into user needs, preferences, and behaviors and use that knowledge to inform UX design decisions
Stay up-to-date with the latest UX design trends, technologies, and best practices and apply them to ACS's products and services
Communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, including executives, product managers, and developers
Manage and mentor junior UX designers and provide guidance and feedback on their work
UX Strategy and Vision:
Define UX Strategy: Develop and lead the overall user experience strategy, ensuring it aligns with the product vision, business goals, and user needs.
Establish Design Guidelines: Create and enforce design principles, patterns, and guidelines to maintain a consistent user experience across products and platforms.
Champion User-Centered Design: Advocate for the end user by ensuring that user-centered design principles are prioritized in every stage of the design process.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define the direction of the product and integrate UX into the broader product strategy.
Team Leadership and Mentorship:
Lead UX Team: Manage a team of UX designers, guiding them through the design process, setting clear goals, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality user experiences.
Mentorship: Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to junior and mid-level designers, helping them grow their design skills and knowledge.
Review and Feedback: Conduct design reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring design work meets both user needs and business objectives.
5+ years of experience in UX design, with a focus on information technology and services
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX design, including wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and their application in a corporate environment
Expert knowledge of design software, such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field. Master's degree preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work with Product Managers and Engineers: Collaborate with product managers to define user requirements, and work closely with engineers to ensure that the final product design is technically feasible and can be efficiently implemented.
Facilitate Communication: Bridge the gap between design, development, and product teams, ensuring that everyone is aligned on goals, timelines, and expectations.

User Research Oversight: Lead or oversee user research activities, such as user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and analytics, to gather insights into user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
Persona Development: Create and update user personas based on research findings, ensuring that the product design aligns with the needs of different user groups.
Usability Testing: Conduct usability tests to evaluate design concepts and ensure they are effective, intuitive, and meet user expectations.
