Position Overview
The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing maintaining and monitoring project schedules to ensure the successful execution of projects within timelines and budgets. This role involves close collaboration with project managers engineering teams and stakeholders to identify key deliverables allocate resources and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed project schedules using scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera P6 MS Project).Define and sequence project activities milestones and deliverables.Track and update project schedules to reflect progress and changes.Prepare regular status reports highlighting critical paths risks and potential delays.Work closely with project managers engineers and stakeholders to ensure alignment of schedules with project requirements.Facilitate schedule review meetings and resolve discrepancies in scheduling. Qualifications and Skills
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Project Management or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 25 years experience in project scheduling preferably in the oil & gas industry.
- Proven expertise with scheduling software (Primavera P6 MS Project).
