Job Description
Job Summary:
Want to revolutionize the packaging industry
Were seeking a handson and adaptable Production Technician to join our small but growing team. Youll support both daytoday production of our innovative mushroombased materials and assist in research and development projects. This role is ideal for someone with a mix of technical skills attention to detail and a passion for sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Production:
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to produce highquality materials.
Assist in production planning to meet operational goals.
Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
Research and Development Assistance:
Prepare materials tools and equipment for experiments and trials as directed by engineers and mycologists.
Document experimental results and production data accurately.
Quality Assurance:
Perform quality checks as per SOPs including inline and endofline testing to ensure consistent product standards.
Meticulously record all production and test result data.
Identify and report defects or inconsistencies during production.
Participate in the continuous improvement of production processes and procedures.
Maintenance and Cleaning:
Clean and sterilize production equipment to maintain a contaminationfree environment.
Organize and maintain workstations ensuring all supplies and equipment are stored properly and ready for use.
Safety:
Adhere to safety protocols including handling hazardous materials and operating equipment responsibly.
Maintain a clean organized and safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications:
2 years experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in aseptic techniques and basic lab equipment operation.
Attention to detail and ability to document work accurately.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with basic production scheduling or quality control processes is a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Safetyconscious and capable of following safety guidelines and procedures.
Basic understanding of scientific and technical principles is preferable.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while performing tasks.
Ability to perform detailed and repetitive tasks.
