Position: OnCamera Social Media Manager
Work Hours (Client): Monday to Friday 9 AM 5 PM EST
Pay Range: $/month
Position Summary:
The OnCamera Social Media Manager will be the face and voice of the company's social media channels. You will be responsible for creating and starring in video content that educates entertains and engages our audience across platforms such as LinkedIn YouTube Instagram and TikTok. This role requires creativity confidence on camera and a passion for communicating complex ideas in a relatable and engaging way.
Key Responsibilities:
- OnCamera Presence: Be the onscreen personality for the company's social media content including explainer videos tutorials opinion pieces and trendbased content.
- Content Creation: Develop script record and edit video content tailored to our audience focusing on demonstrating the value of the company's software sharing industry insights and providing solutions to customer pain points.
- Engagement: Actively interact with the audience in comments live sessions and direct messages to foster a strong online community.
- Platform Expertise: Stay updated on platformspecific video trends and algorithms to ensure maximum reach and engagement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align content with overall business objectives and brand messaging.
- Analytics and Reporting: Use analytics tools to track the performance of video content and refine strategies based on data.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience creating oncamera video content for social media or other platforms preferably for a SaaS or technology company.
- Charismatic and engaging oncamera presence with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently.
- Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or similar).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and video optimization strategies for LinkedIn YouTube Instagram TikTok and Facebook.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a knack for storytelling and connecting with audiences.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the company's software or similar timetracking solutions.
- Experience creating educational content for a business or technology audience.
- Basic graphic design skills and knowledge of design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
