We are seeking an experienced Senior Seller Manager with a strong focus on the luxury market and Japanese sellers. This role offers the opportunity to shape and grow a highprofile category by leveraging your expertise in luxury goods and crossborder ecommerce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Insights & Strategy: Understand the Japanese luxury market including supply structures emerging trends and highpotential brands categories and products. Develop strategies to enhance the platforms competitive edge in the luxury segment.
- Seller Recruitment & Management: Identify and recruit toptier Japanese sellers including traders suppliers and brands. Build longterm partnerships and guide them through onboarding and operational processes.
- Operational Excellence: Create tailored operational plans for sellers helping them achieve sales targets while adhering to platform policies. Collaborate crossfunctionally to ensure smooth operations and optimal supply chain management.
- DataDriven Optimization: Analyze business performance data to identify inefficiencies detect anomalies and design actionable systemlevel improvements to drive growth.
- Collaboration & Process Improvement: Work closely with teams across operations infrastructure and customer experience to continuously optimize seller performance and improve the overall business experience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the luxury goods industry with a minimum of 5 years in crossborder ecommerce or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the Japanese luxury market including its supply chain and operational dynamics.
- Fluent in Japanese (spoken and written) and proficient in English for seamless communication.
- Exceptional negotiation and seller relationship management skills with the ability to develop proactive and innovative operational plans.
- Resultsoriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership excellent problemsolving skills and a collaborative attitude.
