Overview:
We are in search of an experienced and dynamic Senior Seller Manager to lead our efforts in the FastMoving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector focused on the Japanese market. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the Japanese FMCG landscape to drive seller growth and optimise marketplace operations.
Job Description
- Develop and execute seller recruitment and operational strategies focusing on Japanese brand traders sourcing agents and supply chain companies.
- Identify potential sellers through various channels and guide them to join and succeed on the platform.
- Understand platform policies and seller management best practices to drive sales performance and operational efficiency.
- Establish streamlined processes for seller recruitment and tiered operations ensuring continuous improvement.
- Propose and implement innovative operational plans tailored to the platforms features and business needs.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the FMCG industry and crossborder supply chain management with at least 5 years of relevant ecommerce experience.
- Excellent negotiation market development and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Proactive and resultsdriven mindset with the ability to design and execute strategic seller operational plans.
- Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
- Prior experience with seller recruitment operations for international brands or supply chain companies is highly desirable.
