About the Company:
Our client a leading manufacturer of highend Xray inspection equipment with systems installed globally is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team. This organization specializes in developing advanced standalone applications that operate on Windows crafted using C C# and Python.
Position Overview:
As a QA Automation Engineer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of cuttingedge applications. This is a handson position where you will collaborate closely with the development team to design implement and maintain automated testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate application functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and create robust test plans.
- Execute automated tests analyze results and report defects effectively.
- Reproduce issues and verify fixes in partnership with software developers.
- Expand and enhance the existing automation framework for improved efficiency and coverage.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure software reliability after updates.
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices in testing.
- Monitor and report on test coverage and quality metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in QA automation particularly with Windowsbased applications.
- Proficiency in C C# and Python.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies tools and processes.
- Experience with automation tools such as Appium TestComplete or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Selfmotivated and capable of thriving in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes.
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.
- Knowledge of Windows operating system internals.
- Background in testing standalone applications and hardwaresoftware integration.
Work Schedule:
This role is onsite in Concord CA. No remote or hybrid work options are available.
