Job Description
About the Role:
We are hiring a skilled Civil Structural Engineer for a fulltime onsite position in Metairie LA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for civil engineering design structural analysis and project management contributing to the successful execution of infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform civil engineering design and structural analysis for diverse infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including architects engineers and construction managers to ensure project objectives are met.
- Utilize engineering software tools including AutoCAD Civil 3D MicroStation GIS and ArcGIS to create accurate designs and models.
- Develop and review detailed project plans specifications and cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations as well as industry standards and environmental guidelines.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress address challenges and ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Prepare technical reports documentation and presentations for stakeholders.
- Participate in project management tasks including scheduling budgeting and resource allocation.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Louisiana or the ability to obtain one quickly.
- 46 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D MicroStation GIS ArcGIS and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles practices and construction techniques.
- Effective problemsolving and decisionmaking skills with a focus on delivering highquality results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainable design principles is a plus.
- Experience with project management software is advantageous.

Onsite role based in Metairie LA.
