Job Description
Skills:
The Linux Security Consultant will possess knowledge in decision making organizational awareness and problemsolving skills.
Experience Required:
- 7 years of experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux CentOS Ubuntu SUSE Debian Linux.
- 4 years of experience in developing Ansible playbooks Shell and Python scripts.
- Ability to author and implement automation for complex operational and administrative tasks.
- Experience with security tools and threat mitigation technologies such as McAfee CISCO AMP Nessus Tenable Tanium and Dell SecureWorks Red Cloak. Experience with VMware vCenter and ESXI.
- 2 years of experience in the past seven years of the following:
- OpenShift (onpremises).
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CoreOS (RHCOS).
- Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 1402 and 1403.
- National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800171.
- Graylog.
- Linux file sharing via Network File System (NFS) and Common Internet File System (CIFS).
- Kerberized NFS and CIFS against Window Active Directory.
- Carbon Black.
- fapolicyd and other checksumbased executable whitelisting.
- Full Disk Encryption (FDE).
Education Required:
- Bachelors degree in an ITrelated or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a yearforyear basis.
