Job Title: Machine Operator CNC Programmer

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator CNC Programmer to join our team in Albertville AL. This role combines handson operation of CNC machines with technical programming expertise to fabricate highquality parts efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in CNC programming and machining processes along with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Blueprint Analysis: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining parameters tool selection and tolerances.
- CNC Programming: Develop and edit CNC programs using specialized software to produce parts efficiently and accurately.
- Machine Operation: Operate CNC machines and other equipment such as saws lathes and milling machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Measurement & Precision: Use precision measuring instruments (calipers micrometers gauges) to ensure part accuracy and quality.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve programming or mechanical issues during machining ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts to verify they meet required specifications and tolerances.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines and related equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Safety Standards: Adhere to safety protocols including using personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe working environment.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience creating and editing CNC programs using CAM software.
- Technical Knowledge: Indepth understanding of machining processes cutting tools and material properties.
- GD&T: Proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and blueprint interpretation.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Word Excel and web browsers.
- ProblemSolving: Strong critical thinking troubleshooting and multitasking skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers colleagues and management.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. stand or sit for extended periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.
