Develop sales leads following the strategy and market approach set by sales management.
Identify value-added services & solutions to customers and prepare sales slides deck for customer orientation.
Approach targeted customers and schedule sales meetings.
Identify customer pain-points and come-up with working proposal concept which fits customers’ budget and needs.
Prepare sales funnel with estimated winning weight for each sales lead / opportunity.
Bids preparation and analysis from the date of bid receiving till bid submission.
Align with technical team to develop the technical solution based on customer needs.
Align with execution team for execution requirements and timelines.
Prepare BoQ for the developed solutions and prepare materials / services costing.
Align with procurement for 3rd materials / services costing.
Prepare for all needed internal / external approvals with internal / external stakeholders.
Prepare the technical / commercial proposal analysis and writeups.
Follow up the sales cycle and post-bid requirements with customers.
. Sales Strategy Development:
Creating Sales Plans: Develop and implement sales strategies and plans focused on sustainability products and services, targeting clients in industries like manufacturing, energy, construction, or corporate sectors.
Identifying Market Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify potential customers who are committed to sustainable practices or need sustainable solutions. Focus on industries where environmental sustainability is a priority.
Targeting Green Initiatives: Focus on selling sustainable products or solutions such as renewable energy systems, energy-efficient technologies, waste management solutions, carbon offset programs, or sustainable building materials.
2. Client Relationship Management:
Building Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations, including sustainability officers, procurement managers, and operations teams.
Consultative Selling: Work closely with clients to understand their sustainability goals and challenges, and offer tailored solutions that align with their corporate sustainability initiatives.
Customer Retention: Build long-term relationships with existing customers, ensuring that they continue to see value in the sustainability solutions offered and that their sustainability objectives are met.
3. Product and Solution Knowledge:
Sustainability Expertise: Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and regulations related to sustainability, renewable energy, and environmental solutions.
Product Training: Continuously educate customers on the benefits, ROI, and long-term value of sustainability products or services. Help them understand how these solutions can help them meet their environmental and business goals.
Customization: Work with internal teams (engineering, product development) to customize sustainability solutions that meet the specific needs of individual customers.
Expected degree qualification and/or major of Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
Relevant year of experience: Minimum of 6 years’ experience in sales.
Knowledge of expertise: Energy efficiency, sustainability, green buildings, renewable energy.
Any required certification: Certified Energy Manager is a plus.
Personal skills: Communication skills, self-dependent, quick learning.
Language skills: Fluent in English, Arabic speaker is a plus.
Proposal Development and Negotiation:
Creating Proposals: Work with the sales team and other departments to prepare customized proposals, including product specifications, pricing, implementation timelines, and sustainability benefits.
Negotiating Contracts: Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring that deals are made with favorable terms for both the client and the organization. Focus on demonstrating the financial and environmental benefits of sustainable solutions.
Cost-Benefit Analysis: Provide customers with detailed cost-benefit analyses to show the financial, operational, and environmental advantages of adopting sustainable solutions.
Sales Performance and Reporting:
Sales Targets: Set and achieve sales targets related to sustainability products and services. Track performance against these targets and adjust strategies as needed.
Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, including pipeline status, customer feedback, and market trends related to sustainability.
Market Analysis: Continuously monitor industry trends and customer needs to ensure that the sales approach is aligned with market demand and evolving sustainability regulations.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure a seamless sales process and consistent messaging about sustainability solutions.
Product Development Feedback: Provide feedback from customers and market insights to the product development team to ensure the company’s offerings stay aligned with customer sustainability goals and industry needs.
