Job Description

Roles and responsibilities


As a key member of our People & Organization (P&O) team, you will take ownership of culture and development initiatives across the Middle East region. Reporting to the Culture and Development Manager, you will work in close collaboration with colleagues across multiple countries, contributing to Siemens' transformational journey.

Your mission will be to support our employees in their growth journeys, identifying organizational needs, and translating them into tailored learning experiences, communication campaigns, and enablement sessions. You will be integral to creating an environment where employees feel inspired, engaged, and empowered to develop the skills and mindset necessary for success in the future of work.

What You Will Do – Responsibilities at the Heart of Transformation:

  • Own the digitalization of Competency Management and the ecosystem ‘My Skills’ for the Middle East Region. Embed the Siemens Learning App ‘My Skills’ for competence management within the business and support the usage and maturity. Consult with Subject Matter Experts to tailor profiles. Train and lead Skills Managers in the business. Build and steer competence communities across the region.
  • Manage end-to-end execution of the Siemens Professional Education programs, ensuring successful participant engagement, measurement, and impact reporting.
  • Analyze and report on the impact of development programs, working closely with business stakeholders to evolve the design and delivery to maximize business impact and learner engagement.
  • Oversee the full cycle of training programs, from logistics to follow-up activities, ensuring smooth execution and exceptional participant experience.
  • Contribute to onboarding new employees, introducing them to Siemens' culture, development mindset, and tools to support their growth journey from day one.
  • Support talent identification and development initiatives, contributing to succession planning, gap analysis, and risk mitigation through data-driven insights and coaching.
  • Promote and support regional initiatives like Be Golden, ensuring the cultural and organizational transformation aligns with Siemens' core values.
  • Drive awareness and engagement for learning initiatives across regional countries, and partner with local government bodies (e.g. HRDF) to leverage funding opportunities for training programs.
  • Analyze team surveys, act as a change catalyst, and collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to drive organizational transformation and employee development.
  • Customize global Siemens learning and training programs to meet specific regional business needs, ensuring maximum relevance and impact.
  • Leverage your external network to bring market best practices.

Desired candidate profile

  • You bring with 5–8 years in Learning & Development (L&D) roles, with a solid understanding of competency management and professional development frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), and experience with digital learning ecosystems.
  • Highly organized, with strong administrative skills and an ability to prioritize tasks, manage projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and leadership across different cultures.
  • Comfort with working in virtual teams and adapting to changing priorities and environments.
  • This is an excellent career opportunity for Saudi HR professionals with proficiency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) and outstanding communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the Middle East region as needed to support initiatives.
