Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Support the overall sales and marketing activities in the respective region.
Support the sales team in the activities related to offers preparation and orders processing.
Support the BU teams in promotional events planning and preparation.
Support the sales team in delivery follow-ups and updates to customers.

Your success is grounded in:

Recognized Engineering Degree or Computer Science Degree
Saudi Fresh Graduate.
Residence of the respective region.
Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Excellent Computer Skills (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, …etc.).
1. Technical Support for Sales Team:
Pre-Sales Support: Provide technical assistance to the sales team by preparing product specifications, technical documentation, and answering product-related questions during client meetings.
Product Demonstrations: Assist in preparing materials and demonstrations to help the sales team effectively communicate the product’s capabilities to clients.
Proposal Preparation: Collaborate with the sales team to create technical proposals and quotes that accurately reflect customer requirements. This includes technical drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
2. Order Processing and Coordination:
Order Management: Handle the order processing steps, ensuring that customer orders are accurately entered into the system and processed in a timely manner.
Documentation: Prepare contracts, agreements, and other necessary paperwork for sales transactions, ensuring that they are accurate and complete.
Coordination with Other Departments: Work closely with the operations, logistics, and product delivery teams to ensure smooth processing and fulfillment of sales orders.
Inventory Tracking: Maintain awareness of inventory levels and product availability, providing sales teams with up-to-date information on stock and delivery timelines.
3. Technical Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
Customer Support: Assist in handling technical queries from customers, providing troubleshooting support, and offering technical solutions when issues arise before or after the sale.
Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and FAQs, to ensure customers and the sales team have the right resources at hand.
4. Data Entry and CRM Management:
CRM Maintenance: Keep the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system up to date by entering customer information, tracking sales progress, and ensuring that all relevant details are recorded for follow-up actions.
Database Management: Maintain and update sales databases, ensuring that all product information, client requirements, and other essential details are accurately recorded.
Sales Reporting: Generate reports for the sales team on leads, sales pipeline, forecasts, and other performance metrics to assist with decision-making.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Customer Communication: Occasionally reach out to customers to follow up on orders, ensure satisfaction, and ensure that any issues are promptly resolved.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and relay feedback from customers to the sales team, helping the organization refine products and services based on customer input.

Key Skills and Attributes for a Sales Back-Office Support Engineer:

  • Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of the products or services being sold, including their technical specifications, features, and benefits.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in processing orders, managing documentation, and maintaining databases is essential.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical or operational issues that may arise during the sales process.
  • Strong Communication: The ability to communicate clearly with the sales team, customers, and internal departments, even in technical situations.
  • CRM and Data Management: Experience with CRM systems (like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM) and the ability to manage data and generate reports.
  • Organization and Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and sales requests simultaneously.
  • Customer-Focused Mindset: Understanding the importance of customer satisfaction and providing excellent support throughout the sales process.
  • Technical Writing: Ability to write clear technical documents, including proposals, manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
