Job Description
Experienced Veterinary Surgeon Procedures Biased
Our client a wellrespected independently owned practice is looking for an experienced proceduresbiased Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. They seek a surgeon with an interest and previous experience in surgical procedures and ideally some background in sole charge or leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Covering first opinion and referral care including medical and surgical cases
- Advanced diagnostic imaging and rehabilitation
- Opportunity to grow and master areas of special interest
Working Hours:
This is a fulltime position with:
- A 4day week with 10hour shifts (various shift times between 7:30am 8:00pm) totaling 40 hours
- 1hour lunch break
- Equal rota for daytime inpatient care and help with emergencies over weekends and bank holidays
- 2 days off in lieu of any weekends worked
- No outofhours duties except as a last resort backup to the dedicated emergency team on a rare rota basis
- Primarily based at the busy branch clinic in Worthing with potential shifts at hospitals to expand case exposure if needed
