6 months contract with a Local Authority
Lead the team on Agile and Lean ways of working
Optimise the delivery flow of teams by removing impediments and actively dealing with the addressing delivery risks
Lead continual planning process for the team they are working within
Communicate effectively with stakeholders
Identify and address issues with regard to team dynamics.

Key Duties/Accountabilities
This post is within the Digital Data and Technology Profession. The Met Office DDaT Profession has adopted the UK Governments Digital Data and Technology profession as its overarching professional framework. This is governed by the Central Digital and Data Office (CDDO) part of the Cabinet Office that sets out the professional standards in the DDaT profession capability framework.
The DDaT capability framework defines the technical skills for the assigned DDaT role and role level in addition to the Personal and Corporate Effectiveness competencies outlined above.
As a Senior Delivery Manager you will need to evidence Senior Delivery Manager DDaT skill levels applicable to your post as defined by the DDaT profession capability framework.
Essential Experience Required:
Experience in delivering complex end to end services in the Public Sector is essential.
Experience of stakeholder management including the public local Councillors and conducting consultation is essential.
Essential Qualification Required:
A relevant professional qualification is desirable.
Additional information to note:
Working hours: 40 hours per week.
Existing Security Clearance would be advantageous.
