PreConstruction Stage
- During the design phase managing various design information and its interface among stakeholders reviewing delivarables from a construction perspective advising on the issues related to construction coordinating the designers work schedule considering construction schedule and preparing work status reports.
- During the clients equipment procurement and fabrication phase managing information and its interface among stakeholders reviewing delivarables from a construction perspective advising on the issues related to construction coordinating design information exchange and delivery schedules between vendors and construction contractors considering construction schedule and preparing work status reports.
- During the construction planning phase providing advice on issues and concerns coordinating construction schedules among contractors organizing and confirming scope of work and preparing work status reports.
Construction Stage
- Monitor and supervise all Architectural Structural and M&E installation works on site.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved plansstatutory requirements and contract specifications and are constructed to required quality and accuracy.
- Proactively encourage Contractors and other persons on site to use safe methods of working.
- Assessment of any potential breach of regulations or good safe working practice that could give rise to the injury of any person on the site or any member of the public or are detrimental to the works.
- Feedback to Contractor team and Project Manager team as required.
- Assist Contractor and MDP Project Manager team with any measures for rectification; by monitoring supervising and reporting on Contractors compliance.
- Review records of works carried out inc. tests inspections status of works safety site diary materials and equipment on site labour dayworks provisional quantities etc. and ensure these are properly maintained and updated.
- Observation of design & buildability issues plus increased working with Architect and contractor to remediate
- Aligned to project programme assist Project Manager team with detailed snagging inspection and quality assessment
- Review and advise on all verbal directions / instructions given to the Contractor(s) as required.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager Team to verify reports and claims submitted by contractors
PostConstruction Stage
- Snagging close out and quality inspections
Qualifications :
- Holder of Degree in construction or engineering related disciplines
- Holder of PMP CCMJ or ACMJ certificate is an advantage.
- Holder of safety supervisor certificate of CIC (CICTA / CITA) or OSHC is an advantage
- A minimum of 10 years experience of construction and Health & Safety monitoring in the construction/renovation works
- An experience in EPC work including industrial plants and factories is an advantage.
- Good command of English and Chinese
- Normal hours and outofhours site inspections and site meetings; to suit project programme requirement
