Content Creator - Intern

The intern will learn:

• Learn to work professionally, creatively and efficiently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Gain an appreciation for the importance of on-line media in an agency’s success.
• Utilize project management, coordination, teamwork and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Creating a searchable content library that will house partial and finalized materials and serve as a resource for the development of future content.
• Writing and producing various types of shareable content for use on our website, on social media outlets and in e-blasts that educate and entertain our audience and support our marketing goals.
• Collecting agency data, outcomes and other statistics and presenting the information in a compelling infographic format that visually tells our story to identified publics.
• Editing/proofreading content to ensure it meets established standards.
• Attending and participating in Program, Development and meetings.

Internship Requirements

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• A strong background in journalism, communications, social media development.
• Experience creating written, visual and/or video content for online marketing purposes and have demonstrated writing, proofreading and research skills.
• Creative, detail-oriented, punctual, flexible, possess an interest in marketing, excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently to complete projects in a timely fashion.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in email, internet research and Microsoft Office.
• Creative thinker with a genuine curiosity and investigative sensibility.
• MUST HAVE A LAPTOP.
