Job Description
As Team Lead for the Commerce Team you will lead software engineers in mobile development. This position is a handson contributing role with team leadership responsibilities. You will set the example of writing solid code and following software design best practices. You will build new UI components help drive development and architecture with the team and work with other software departments QA and UX teams to deliver new functionality for Cricuts next generation of mobile apps.
Responsibilities
Handson role where you will be working alongside the team
Work with PM and UX on story refinement articulate engineering concerns and guide technical direction
Lead technical architecture coding standards and other team processes and policies
Work with cross functional teams on quarterly planning and plan work for the team
Apply software engineering design patterns to develop wellstructured modular performant application code
Run Scrum ceremonies
Work collaboratively with product manager to drive features and maintain the backlog
Serve as a technical mentor and know how to delegate tasks to the team
Perform code reviews write unit and UI tests and contribute to architectural planning and refactoring
Collaborate with API teams on API design
Drive software releases
Qualifications :
1 years of experience with crossfunctional leadership including leading a team of software engineers
7 years of professional experience in software development
Highly proficient in developing iOS mobile native applications in Swift/SwiftUI (experience in The Composable Architecture is a big plus)
Solid knowledge of iOS UI design principles best practices and development life cycle
Experience with at least one of these design architectures: MVVM MVC VIPER Clean Architecture
Experience consuming RESTful JSON/XML web services Open API standard (Swagger)
Proficient in testing best practices
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Passion for quality and close attention to details
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Aptitude to independently learn new technologies
Good to Have
Experience with StoreKit or the Google Play Billing Library
Experience with Angular
Familiarity with Mobile development using Kotlin on Android
Education & Experience
BS in CS or commensurate industry experience
