Position Summary
The Critical Care Department at Toronto General Hospital is seeking a Clinical Research Analyst (CRA) to support a grantfunded clinical trial. The CRA will be involved in all aspects of study startup including preparing Research Ethics Board and regulatory applications and liaising with both internal and external study partners. In addition the CRA will also be responsible for assisting with daily study activities including recruiting patients obtaining consent and collecting data. The CRA will have essential knowledge of clinical research principles and practice as well as research regulations and guidelines such as ICH/GCP guidelines TriCouncil Policy Declaration of Helsinki FDA CFR and Health Canada TPD. In addition the CRA will be supported by a Clinical Research Coordinator II in the Critical Care Unit. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about having meaningful interactions with patients and their caregivers.
