Job Description
CEDA is currently looking to hire 3 Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspector Level 2 for our upcoming 2025 shutdown in the Conklin AB area.
This posting is also open to Direct Service Providers.
What we offer:
- $65.00 per hour with a $3.00 per hour nightshift premium
- Day and night shifts available
- Camp provided
- Tentative start date: March 26 2025
- Project expected to wrap up midJune 2025
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support shop & site projects; by educating and engaging all project personnel in all aspects of CEDAs Quality Management System
- Establish and maintain project quality control job files
- Index creation progressive maintenance and timely submission of project turnover documentation as per client requirements
- Assign and verify compliance to company weld procedures
- Manage project NonDestructive Testing subcontractor and verify NDE compliance to project requirements
- Prepare hydro test packages verify completion of pre/posthydro activities and witness hydro testing creation of regulatory data sheets (AB83 etc.)
- Maintain records of nonconformance corrective & preventive actions; communicate information to all relevant parties and ensure timely closeout of the agreed actions
- Provide troubleshooting expertise to manage any and all quality related issues that arise
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a quality control inspector is required
- CWB level 2 certification is required
- Experience in a in a construction or fabrication environment is required
- Valid Class 5 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
- Ability to navigate computer programs such as Blue Beam and Microsoft suite of products including Word and Excel
- H2S Alive CSO or CSTS 2020 and Confined Space Entry (ESC version) required physical copies of certificates must be on site no digital copies accepted
- Able to provide a negative result on a preemployment drug and alcohol test
