The role is to design the large plastic parts for the air intake / cooling routing system and air filters for Ice Trucks.
Tasks
- Oversee a specific area of technical expertise with moderate complexity leading mechanical design engineering within a technical team.
- Maintain a comprehensive view of deliverables from other interfaces to ensure quality and readiness before release.
- Share knowledge and foster skill development within the team.
- Build and manage networks across the organization providing insights into project prerequisites based on the components history.
- Proficient in CREO with experience in Cooling systems and/or Pipes and Hoses.
- Design technical solutions based on given requirements (e.g. functionality style volume geometry cost quality targets and regulations) within mechanical domains.
- Support and lead mechanical design engineering activities within a specific area while actively contributing to the delivery process.
- Integrate inputs from other teams ensuring quality and readiness prior to release.
- Ensure designs meet business objectives and requirements.
- Provide valuable insights into product and system roadmaps.
- Build and nurture relationships with universities and external institutes related to your technical field.
- Contribute to business development and innovation.
- Develop and manage crossorganizational networking while offering insights on project prerequisites based on component history.
- Support junior team members and peers.
- Serve as a role model for lifelong learning knowledge sharing and developing others as a trainer/coach.

Requirements
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Creo: Expertise in using Creo for mechanical design and modeling with the ability to create and modify 3D models and assemblies.
- Cooling Systems and/or Pipes and Hoses Expertise: Knowledge and experience in designing cooling systems and managing pipes and hoses within mechanical engineering.
- Mechanical Design Engineering: Ability to design technical solutions based on functional aesthetic and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of Design Standards and Regulations: Understanding of industry standards regulations and quality targets related to mechanical design.
- Component History Knowledge: Familiarity with component history to inform project prerequisites and decisionmaking.
