Job Description
KPMGs continued success depends on its ability to win large opportunities with both existing and new clients. Our Strategic Pursuits Team (SPT) is made up of dedicated pursuit specialists who work with our internal clientfacing teams to improve their competitive position and win rate on major pursuits. Our Pursuit Managers drive quality and efficient pursuit processes and outputs to maximise the chances of winning an opportunity.
Your Opportunity
As a Pursuit Manager you will work closely with the Senior Pursuit Manager and Pursuit Leaders to:
- Actively manage the pursuit process with senior stakeholders by leveraging strong project management skills and tools
- Help our clientfacing teams to focus on longterm major pursuits by actively managing the pursuit process to consistently execute the strategy and pursuit tactics
- Provide pursuit management support to teams on short turnaround opportunities
- Draw together expertise across our business to help assist with unique solutions to our clients needs
- Manage the development of creative engaging and insightful pursuit collateral for example proposal documents and presentations
- Participate in a continual learning environment by sharing experience and knowledge

- Sound knowledge of a sales/pursuit methodology
- Experience in planning pursuits coordinating teams and influencing colleagues
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritise set and meet deadlines
- Very strong organisation skills attention to detail initiative and a proactive openminded approach
- Strong written verbal and visual communication skills
- The ability to build rapport quickly and develop working relationships with senior stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
- The ability to work both independently and contribute to a strong collaborative team culture
- Curiosity and interest in new creative ways of reaching our clients and demonstrating KPMGs value
- 24 years pursuit or business development experience or experience in related areas
