Purpose of the role
To be trusted partner of the Ancillaries business area owning the design delivery and operation of the Ancillaries Tech Product which includes new products alacarte continuous enhancements on existing products and vouchers & gift cards new developments and enhancements.
- As the lead of the Ancillaries Product serve as the customer proxy responsible for working with Product Management and other stakeholder (including Merchandising and other Product Owners in Customer & Commercial department and other stakeholders).
- Responsible for definition & prioritizing the Product Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team(s).
- Play a significant role in maximizing the value produced by the Ancillaries agile teams ensuring user stories meet the users needs and comply with the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
- Inspiring and motivating the development team with vision long term direction ambition and making the dev team accountable for the delivery.
- Act as a key role/agent in digital transformation initiatives across the Group and in the Operating Company.
Accountabilities
Within this role you will
- Build a strong and trustworthy relationship with Ancillaries & Merchandising business stakeholders.
- Define product tech features roadmap based on business priorities prioritize and sequence product features coordinating Ancillaries releases deciding on timing and content
- Delivery and maintenance of the Ancillaries product within a DevSecOps model and mindset being responsible for the delivery and support of new and existing products with quality speed to market.
- Support and drive the development team by using agile/scrum best practices and promote agile values
- Assure the building editing and maintaining the team backlog with input from Enterprise Solution Architects and SwE System and other stakeholders.
- Prioritize and reprioritize the backlog items based on user value time and other team dependencies
- Following up activities in ongoing product development; being able to define measure and report based on KPIs and OKRs with Business Product and Tech end2end scope and DevSecOps mindset.
- Helping to solve productrelated problems and highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Manage product financials ensuring value is delivered to business at the appropriate cost in alignment with agile program planning and iterations. Both internal and external cost management within the Ancillaries program scope
- Coordinating steering and interacting with multiple stakeholders and facilitating a joint understanding by tailoring the language to the audience.
This role may require travel and working from multiple sites/locations. Willing and able to travel to participate in meetings workshops and other related activities

Qualifications :
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of technology product delivery standards frameworks product mindset and agile methodologies
- 3 years of proven experience in similar positions in the travel industry in international companies and experience working in technological areas preferably within ecommerce / ancillaries / merchandising sectors products/projects.
- Previous experience working within a Product Development team in an Agile world with Scrum and/or Kanban; desirable knowledge in SAFe frameworks from the product perspective.
- Experience of working in documentation programs such as Atlassian or Figma
- Experience of working with tracking and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace Splunk Cloudwatch
- Desirable knowledge in Order & Offer Management systems. Emphasis on offering capabilities.
- Flexibility in a rapidly changing and developing environment with the ability to work under pressure.
