Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and coworking spaces in Brisbane Perth and Adelaide. This role is all about bringing the magic to life onsite so youll be based in our Sydney office Monday to Friday.

As Canva grows The Vibe Team needs to scale its operations in a way that can adapt to the everchanging needs and complexities of the company to take on new responsibilities and to contribute in strategic and meaningful ways. Currently the Vibe team support several different functions including Hospitality Experience Events and Engagement Workplace Experience Ground Control and Facilities Maintenance and Construction.

The Vibe team cultivates Canvas culture by supporting our Canvanauts all over the world in Campuses Hubs and Remote work creating and inspiring Peak Moments and empowering others to do the same and by fostering connection. We enable Canvanauts to focus on having the most impact in their roles by having world class operations and we make sure we all have fun along the way!

About the team

The Workplace Experience team is responsible for designing and launching many of the employee experiences and services Vibe are famous for around the world while curating a Vibe that is unique and special to Canvanauts.  Our Workplace Experience team looks after office set up and operations events & activations plus all sorts of community engagement activities. The team are creative hands on and know how to bring the fun!

The role is an integral part of Canvas Workplace Experience team delivering a highstandard service that reflects Canvas values. This role focuses on the seamless operation of Canvas communal spaces including the inhouse caf bar kitchenettes and specialty spaces ensuring an exceptional hospitality experience for all Canvanauts. As the Front of House Specialist you will coach junior staff innovate offerings oversee drinkrelated activations and have an eye for detail to support keeping our spaces beautiful contributing to Canvas unique workplace culture.

What youd be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think thats all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things youll be working on when you start but this will likely evolve.

At the moment this role is focused on:

• Overseeing the seamless daily operations of Canvas communal spaces including the inhouse cafe bar kitchenettes and specialty spaces ensuring cleanliness organisation and functionality.
• Leading and inspiring your team providing clear direction coaching and support to achieve operational excellence and deliver exceptional experiences.
• Providing coffee service including training on coffee machine operations and fostering a friendly and vibrant atmosphere.
• Setting up and hosting inhouse events drinksbased club activities and team celebrations including Friday evening drink activations ensuring RSA compliance and a welcoming environment for Canvanauts and their guests.
• Supporting the kitchen team with snack and beverage requests such as pairing drinks with meals and curating frontofhouse experiences that align with food offerings.
• Ordering recording and managing stock of snacks beverages and supplies across multiple buildings.
• Monitoring costs and contribute to the weekly tracking of expenses ensuring efficiency and accountability
• Distributing deliveries daily ensuring all spaces are wellstocked and prepared for service.
• Engaging with suppliers to refresh and innovate communal space offerings enhancing the frontofhouse experience.

Youre probably a match if you

• Have a deep understanding of hospitality with a passion for delivering exceptional service and curating memorable beautiful experiences.
• Possess strong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire guide and develop a team while fostering a positive and inclusive culture.
• Exhibit warmth approachability and excellent interpersonal skills ensuring a welcoming atmosphere with Canvanauts.
• Are selfmotivated and highly organised with strong leadership abilities capable of training and guiding a team whilst managing multiple competing priorities.
• Show creativity and an openminded approach to curating and enhancing the frontofhouse experience through innovative ideas and activations.
• Thrive in an evolving workplace demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of the broader Vibe team.
