Job Description
Required Qualifications
Front office Aladdin
- BA/BS Degree in finance computer science or related field
- 8 years of relevant Asset Management experience working as an IT business systems analyst or individuals with business analyst experience looking to transition to technology.
- 57 years of experience in systems development life cycle including the ability to define and document specifications work with developers to design/analyze alternative technical solutions test completed code and complete a smooth implementation with the business partners.
- 57 years of experience conducting requirementsgathering meetings with users developers system design architects system integrators and vendors.
- 5 years of experience working in a cross functional environment while supporting multiple lines of stakeholders such as trading portfolio management compliance and/or risk.
- 5 years of experience partnering with Agile team members to generate requirement stories UAT test scripts release notes and other project artifacts.
- 5 years of experience analyzing and providing technology recommendations to the business.
- 35 years of working knowledge in Visio Lucid Chart or other visualization software with experience building flowcharts to represent workflows.
- 35 years of experience with collaborative tools such as Jira Azure DevOps (ADO) and Confluence.
- Coordinating user acceptance testing between vendor business and NTAM technology team.
- 8 years experience as business analyst or product member in Investments Asset Management (front office) preferably Trading.
- Experience in Order management system Aladdin OMS or Charles River focused on Portfolio Management and/or Trading.
- Lead teams thru requirements story writing and sprint planning
- Experience with directly working with Portfolio Managers or Traders in Investments enhancing workflows and user experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Finance CFA Foundation or CFA certification.
- Subject matter expertise and experience with OMS/EMS Order Management Systems BlackRock Aladdin CRD or other widely used enterprise OMS solutions. EMS solutions Virtu Triton Bloomberg EMSX.
- Extensive experience in the financial Asset management particularly equity trading portfolio management operations and accounting.
- Experience in componentbased development (integrating vendor products with inhouse developed code).
- Strong data analysis skills and working experience in an agile development environment.
- Confidence in presenting both strategic and tactical vision to the business team for both bigpicture planning and daytoday management of project goal.
- Desire to work with both inhouse developed systems and thirdparty vendor packages.
- Excellent communication interpersonal analytical problem solving organizational and negotiation skills.
- Ensuring that system solutions are delivered successfully to the business stakeholders.
- Providing deep data support and maintenance of vendor applications and inhouse systems as needed.
- Gaining indepth business knowledge to successfully represent the business community in arriving at technical solutions that support business strategies.
- Adapting to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks.
