Job Description
Main responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily operations of full portfolio
- Deliver superior service and maximize guest satisfaction
- Engage efficiently and accurately to guests needs and complaints
- Work alongside Sommelier compiling the wine & beverage list and recommending wine to guests. Ensure wine lists in rooms are updated.
- Staff recruitment & effective management (including rosters overtime).
- Responsible for stock purchasing managing stock budget and flow and working according to the budget
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
Main requirements:
- Grade 12 with tertiary qualification in Food Services Management/Hospitality
- 23 years previous Restaurant Manager experience in 5* or luxury establishments
- Wine certification course or similar experience alignment
- Must have own reliable transport and valid drivers license.
- Previous Gourmet Guide and Eat Out aligned fine dining experience required this is non negotiable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele
- Excellent food and wine knowledge required non negotiable
- Excellent ability to pay attention to detail
- High stress tolerance and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent planning and organizing skills
- Reliable flexible adaptable & selfdisciplined
- High standards of ethical conduct
