Job Description
As a Software Logistics Consultant you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing logistics solutions in automated and non automated distribution centres. You will be responsible working with clients to provide efficient effective and safe warehouse solutions that utilise the latest technology. Your expertise in intralogistics software solutions and operations will enable to deliver customer centric scalable and impactful solutions to clients.
TASKS
- Support of sales team during scoping phase
- Definition of warehouse processes with customer
- Analyzing customers business requirement documentation
- Creation of functional design documents and scoping statements
- Creation of design documents including interface design documents
- Assessment of work packages (tasks)
- Quantitative analysis
- Support of project management in relation to technical details
- Ability to scope testing including creation of test plans
- Ability to create training materials and operational procedures
- Optimization of customer warehouse solutions
- Feedback loop to product management
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelors degree in Business Information Technology Supply Chain or Engineering.
- Proven experience in software consulting and integration preferably in warehouse management systems (WMS) or related software e.g. ERP WCS or Manufacturing
- Proven experience in consulting or leadership roles in supply chain minimum 5 years
- Experience in software development lifecycle including testing
- Experience in manufacturing or warehouse automation is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Experience in agile methodologies is desirable.
- Experience in process reengineering lean six sigma or business transformations is desirable
TRAVEL REQUIRED
- Moderate level of travel is required within Southeast Asia other international clients are supported remotely
