Job Description
- Conducting research on ecommerce trends and fulfilment services to identify new business opportunities.
- Analysing competitor offerings and market positioning to inform strategy.
- Develop and implement business development strategies tailored to ecommerce fulfillment services.
- Work with senior management to set and achieve growth targets.
- Identify and approach potential clients including online retailers and brands needing fulfillment services.
- Prepare proposals and presentations to pitch fulfillment solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries and resolve any issues related to fulfillment services.
- Collaborate with logistics providers technology vendors and other partners to enhance service offerings.
- Explore opportunities for strategic alliances that can drive growth.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client acquisition and fulfillment operations.
- Provide regular reports to management on business development activities and results.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in business administration Logistics Marketing or a related field.
- 25 years of experience in business development sales or logistics preferably within the ecommerce sector.
- Familiarity with fulfillment operations and supply chain management is a plus.
- Understanding of ecommerce platforms and fulfillment technologies
