Job Description
LEAD DESIGN ENGINEER
- Mechanical / Automotive engineering background with relevant educational degree.
- 10 years experience in combustion engine design or Automotive component design.
- Working knowledge and design guidelines of combustion engines is mandatory.
- Well versed with design tools such as Catia AutoCAD Onshape Solidworks etc.
- Knowledge in Engine components and aggregate design
- Well versed in component design process and engineering calculations
- Knowhow of the field issues and resolutions
- Strong competency for design review and new ideas
- Awareness of the design standards (local and international)
- Must be well versed with the Drawing standards Data Management Release management and CoOrdination
- Design and development of parts with Supplier interaction.
- UG NX tool : Strong in Part Design assembly design DMU Kinematic design Drawing & Team Centre
- Knowledge of GD & T
- Background in mechanical design engineering
- Knowledge of CATIA V5 (Part Design Generative Shape Design Assembly Design Drafting
- Proficient in geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing
