Shift time : 06:00 AM TO 03:00 PM(EST)
We are seeking an experienced Azure Backup & Disaster Recovery Engineer with 5 years of expertise in designing implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions in Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have indepth knowledge of Azure Backup Azure Site Recovery and other cloudbased DR tools ensuring data protection business continuity and high availability for our critical workloads.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Experience : 5 years of experience working with backup and disaster recovery solutions in Azure.
Handson experience with Azure Backup Azure Site Recovery and Recovery Services Vault.
Proficiency in designing and implementing backup strategies for virtual machines databases and file servers.
Experience with hybrid cloud and multicloud disaster recovery solutions.
Strong knowledge of backup retention policies encryption and data protection practices.
Experience with PowerShell or Azure CLI scripting for automation of backup and recovery processes.
Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
Experience with thirdparty backup tools integrated with Azure such as Veeam Commonvault or NetApp.
Understanding of business continuity planning and recovery strategies for missioncritical applications.
Familiarity with Azure storage services including Blob Storage Disk Storage and Azure Files.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication skills for explaining complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and process automation.
