Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
-
Operational Management:
- Oversee daytoday plant operations including production quality control maintenance and logistics.
- Ensure smooth and efficient production processes to meet established targets and schedules.
- Monitor and manage plant performance to maximize throughput while minimizing waste and downtime.

Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) FDA and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Implement and maintain quality control systems to guarantee the highest standards of product quality and safety.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure plant operations meet all regulatory and quality guidelines.

Staff Management & Leadership:
- Lead manage and develop the plant team including production supervisors operators and maintenance staff.
- Promote a culture of safety teamwork and continuous improvement within the plant workforce.
- Ensure adequate training and development programs for all staff members.

Budget and Cost Management:
- Develop and manage the plants operational budget ensuring costeffective use of resources.
- Identify and implement costreduction strategies without compromising on quality or safety.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials and ensure timely availability for production.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure the efficient handling and storage of materials.
- Work with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of finished products.

Continuous Improvement:
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in plant operations focusing on enhancing efficiency safety and product quality.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and new technologies that can improve plant performance.

Health & Safety:
- Enforce health safety and environmental guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Ensure that the plant follows all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures.

Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance including production status quality metrics inventory and budget compliance.
- Maintain detailed records of plant activities including production logs maintenance schedules and incident reports.
