Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Azure VDI Specialist to support the development implementation security and maintenance of a scalable Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment for a multiInstitute/Center (IC) environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Terraform InfrastructureasCode (IaaS) PowerShell scripting and virtualization tools like VMware vSphere. They will develop workflows optimize systems troubleshoot deployments and maintain compliance with policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop secure and maintain Microsoft Azure VDI environments.
- Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate workflows and batch processing.
- Troubleshoot and optimize deployments virtual machines and image builds.
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and system documentation.
- Perform system design software updates and data backups.
- Provide user guidance problem resolution and support for software/hardware issues.
- Prepare roadmaps schedules and reports.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Information Sciences Computer Systems or related fields.
- Certifications: Microsoft Azure AZ100 CompTIA CASP.
- Skills: Proficiency in Terraform VMware vSphere and HTML5.
- Experience: Strong background in scripting system design and multienvironment support.
