In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest, and owner expectations.
The Sales Executive is responsible to maximise sales and achieve pre-determined targets, working closely with Rooms, Food and Beverage, and other revenue-generating departments.
Minimum 2 years of work experience as a Sales Executive or Coordinator in hotel operations
Good problem-solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must
Schedule flexibility is necessary and the ability to multi-task
Preferably residing in Qatar, with the support of a transfer
Sales and Business Development
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential clients or customers through research, networking, and cold calling, and qualify leads to build a pipeline of sales opportunities.
Sales Presentations: Present products or services to potential clients, addressing their needs and demonstrating how the company’s offerings can solve their problems or improve their business.
Closing Sales: Work through negotiations to close sales, finalize contracts, and ensure clients are satisfied with the terms of the deal.
Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales quotas or targets set by the company. This could include monthly, quarterly, or yearly goals.
Customer Relationship Management
Client Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, concerns, and ongoing support.
Customer Retention: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction to encourage repeat business, renewals, or upselling opportunities.
Feedback and Reporting: Gather feedback from clients to understand their needs and ensure that these are communicated back to the company for improvements or product developments.
Sales Strategy and Planning
Market Research: Understand the market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs. This information helps in tailoring sales strategies to achieve better results.
Sales Strategy Development: Develop strategies to increase sales in line with company goals, using tools such as discounts, promotions, or bundled offers to attract new customers.
Forecasting and Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management, detailing progress against sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Collaboration and Teamwork
Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales campaigns with promotional strategies. This can include creating sales collateral, emails, and advertisements that attract new customers.
Cross-department Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as customer service, product development, and finance to ensure smooth implementation of the sales process.
