The Security Supervisor assist in managing the security function of the hotel so that its guests, associates, operations, and assets are protected and secure.

Supervision and Leadership
Lead and Manage Security Team: Oversee a team of security personnel, ensuring that each member follows established procedures, maintains professionalism, and performs their duties effectively.
Schedule Security Staff: Create and manage security team schedules to ensure proper coverage during all shifts, especially during high-risk times (e.g., evenings, weekends, or events).
Training and Development: Train new security staff on company policies, emergency procedures, and protocols, and provide ongoing development and support for existing staff.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of security staff, providing feedback, guidance, and discipline as necessary to ensure high standards of service.
Shift Supervision: Oversee the security team’s activities during their shifts, ensuring tasks are carried out correctly and resolving any issues that arise.
Safety and Security Operations
Monitor Security Systems: Ensure that security systems, such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems, are functioning correctly and are actively monitored during each shift.
Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular inspections of the premises, both inside and outside, to identify potential security risks, such as unauthorized access or safety hazards.
Preventive Security Measures: Develop and enforce preventive security measures, such as monitoring access points, checking credentials, and ensuring that all equipment and areas are secured.
Incident Response: Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or breaches, taking appropriate action and ensuring the safety of individuals and property.
Emergency Procedures: Lead and coordinate responses to emergencies, such as evacuations, medical emergencies, fires, or criminal activity. Ensure that all security personnel are trained and prepared to handle emergencies.
