This Client is an American multinational semiconductor company based in Santa Clara California that develops computer processors and related technologies for business and consumer markets. global company that specializes in manufacturing semiconductor devices used in computer processing. The company also produces flash memories graphics processors motherboard chip sets and a variety of components used in consumer electronics goods.

Job Description:
- The clients Strategic Silicon Solutions (S3) group is responsible for custom silicon for the gaming platforms such as XBOX PlayStation and Steam Deck.
- Our SW team is looking for an Engineer with experience in Source Composition Analysis.
- This person will be working closely with the client SIT (SW Integrity Team) and responsible for configuring and performing source code intellectual property and security vulnerabilities scanning process.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to read and understand code in multiple languages are critical.
THE PERSON:
- You are a selfstarter with the passion for driving largescale technical projects consistent record of solving highly sophisticated problems along with solid technical background.
- You possess excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent organizational and time management skills.
- You are used to working independently yet as part of a team where teamwork is of utmost importance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer and apply OSS and security vulnerabilities scanning software
- Drive scanning process automations and optimizations
- Perform software audits and generate reports
- Work with SIT team to establish and update formal scanning and compliance process
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure accordance with IP law and OSS licenses
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with source code and security vulnerabilities scanning software such as Palamida Black Duck Protecode SC FOSSID etc.
- Good knowledge of C proven ability to read and understand Java and Python code
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as shell scripts and Perl
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Computer Science/Engineering Degree or equivalent
- 5 years relevant experience
- Understanding of IP licensing principles and open source compliance
