Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Hospital Medicine

Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Middlebury Vermont

Service Setting: Hospital Medicine (Level 3 Trauma Center)

Coverage Type: Clinical Only

Coverage Period: March 4 2025 June 3 2025

Clinical Shift Schedule: 7 days on/7 days off schedule 10hour shifts (8AM6PM)

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults and skilled patients

Patient Volume/Census: 7 10 patient encounters per day

FACILITY INFORMATION

Trauma Level: Level 3

EMR System: Epic

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Credentialing Timeline: To Be Determined

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Details: To Be Determined

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Specific Procedures: None

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Other Qualifications: Work involves admissions from the ED daily rounding and discharges under physician supervision

Collaboration: Working alongside a hospitalist physician
