JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Hospitalist MD/DO

Specialty:Family Medicine/Internal Medicine

Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Kansas City MO

Service Setting: Inpatient

Coverage Type: Clinical Only

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Volume/Census: 160 ADE

FACILITY INFORMATION

Facility Coverage:

5 physician day shifts

1 admitter physician day shift

1 physician night shift

Beds: 590bed such as emergency care with a

Facility level: Level I Trauma Center & Level III NICU

Specialty backup: Oncology CareOrthopedics/sports medicine

EMR System: Meditech

SHIFT INFORMATION

Shift Times:

MD/DO: 7a7p Day and Admitter 7p7a Night

NP/PA: 7a7p Day 12p12a Admitter 7p7a Night

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Hourly Rate: TBD

Travel Lodging and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses:

Active Missouri Medical License (MO)

MO DEA License

Missouri statecontrolled substance license

Certifications: ACLS BLS PALS (ACLS strongly recommended)

Other Requirements:

Case logs for the past two years in Hospital Medicine

COVID19 vaccination and current TB test

Experience: Hospital Medicine in similar volume (160 ADE) for the past two years

Board Certification: BC/BE in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Practice (FP) preferred
