Patients per day: 110
Staff Support: full nursing 12 hours of APP coverage daily
Current EHR in use: Cerner
Number of beds: 42
70% of total admis received from ED
22% of ED patients admitted to the hospital per day
< 1% of ED patients transferred per day
Trauma Level: 3
Annual ER Volume: 40000
Fast track in ED Yes staffed by APP
15% of total ED volume treated by Fast Track
Locum will be required to supervise other health care providers: APP and residents
ED staff does not respond to house codes
Hospitalist writes admission orders
Procedures/Skills Required:
Family Medicine Procedures/Skills: Adult Outpatient PediatricGeneral Outpatient Newborn resuscitation OrthopedicNondisplaced fractures Suturing of minor lacerations Incision & Drainage PsychiatricUncomplicated adult PsychiatricUncomplicated child/adolescent PsychiatricUncomplicated geriatric Diagnosis & management of common industrialrelated medical problems Ventilation managementestablishing & maintaining an airway; various modes of ventilation for up to 24 hrs w/o pulmonary consultation Evaluation & management of acute volume/BP issues Central Line Arterial Line EKG Interpretation Arthrocentesis Lumbar puncture Paracentesis EM related procedures
Expenses:
Car fuel mileage hotel is a BR50 cap (including taxes)
Does NOT reimburse Med Staff Fees
No lodging booked through 3rd party websites ie expedia kayak etc
McLaren is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodgingMalpractice must be included in rates
Orientation rate is 1/2 the hourly rate
Rates to Submit:
Orientation 1/2 of hourly rate for orientation and training
Hourly BR00/hour
Holiday 1.5x
OT 1.5x
Conversion Fee
Site uses reverse billing provider must clock in/out using Kronos no timesheets will be approved
Requirement description : ALL MUST BE NOTATED AT TIME OF NAME CLEAR
- Board Certified (No BE) must be ABEM or AOBEM Required no exceptions
- ED experience highly preferred
- MI License Required at time of clear no exceptions not accepting IMLC
- BLS Required
- Provider must be local REQUIRED no exceptions
- Must have clean background for quick credentialing REQUIRED no exceptions
- Please submit rates at time of name clear rate cap BR00/hour Required will not send to client without rates
- Please provide desired shift from list above Required

- Board Certified
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
- Michigan
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : ABEM AOBEM ACLS BLS PALS Hep B MMR Varicella vaccine series or immune titer Flu for current flu season Covid Documentation TB within 12 months TDAP adult vaccine (within the last 10 years)
