Job Description

As a Learning Coordinator you will play a vital role in supporting and administering programs and platforms within the Talent Development Department. Reporting to the Manager Talent Development you will oversee key initiatives such as Talent LMS emPerform apprenticeship and job grant program coordination and the development and management of both new and existing training programs. Your contributions will help drive the organizations growth and success through effective learning and development strategies. 

What would you be doing 

  • Assist with creating coordinating and managing training initiatives including Management Development Supervisor Training Mentorship and Employee Onboarding programs in collaboration with the Talent Development Program Specialist. 
  • Ownership and administration of the Trades Apprenticeship Program track hours draft letters address inquiries and manage the Apprentice Financial Assistance Program and its budget. 
  • Oversee the Learning Management System manage job grant applications for employees and maintain budgets. 
  • Coordinate Rewards & Recognition initiatives contribute to newsletters and keep information up to date on internal platforms like SharePoint. 
  • Handle Talent Development inquiries Service Desk tickets and other related projects as needed.

Qualifications :

  • A selfstarter who takes initiative and acts proactively when required. 
  • Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication ensuring clarity and professionalism. 
  • Excels in prioritizing tasks multitasking and meeting deadlines while maintaining flexibility and attention to detail. 
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications including Excel Word and PowerPoint. 
  • Builds strong relationships with stakeholders and exhibits decisionmaking and problemsolving capabilities within role boundaries.
