Job Description
As the OUTsurance Claims Assessor (Buildings) you will be responsible for assessing validating and finalising personal lines and business claims.
Responsibilities
- Validate all incidents and claims
- Meeting with clients witnesses etc.
- Finalise all reports and administration (reports scanning photographs etc.)
- Liaise with service providers
- Make the decision all administration and telephonic queries arising around that.
- Handling and resolving all queries and problems from service provider and clients.
- Conduct all the above to the required performance and quality standards that are in place.
Qualifications :
Essential
- Matric
- A valid drivers license
- Building claims experience
Experience
- Construction or building related experience
- Building/ Construction/ Plumbing or Electrical/Electronic related experience
- Face to Face Client services experience
- Investigation/Assessing experience especially in a shortterm insurance industry. Preferably Buildings Assessing experience
Advantageous
- A tertiary qualification or significant progress towards obtaining any construction or built environment related qualification would be highly beneficial
