Job Description
As a Civil Structural Engineer you will join Bristol team to support our activities within the Nuclear sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Design and analyse anchorages and supports for various civil structures within nuclear facilities including reactor buildings containment structures and auxiliary buildings.
- Conduct structural assessments and evaluations to ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and safety requirements.
- Prepare technical reports drawings and documentation detailing design specifications calculations and recommendations.
- Conduct site inspections and evaluations to assess the condition and performance of existing anchorages and recommend remedial actions as necessary.
Qualifications :
- Candidates with a minimum of 7 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on structural analysis and design within the nuclear sector (or other industrial sector). Experience with anchorages and supports for critical structures is highly desirable.
- Candidates with prior experience with nuclear safety protocols and regulations is preferred.
- Masters degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000 STAAD.Pro or similar programs.
