Job Description
As NPD Category Manager you will lead the full product life cycle for either the categories Body & Beauty or Home & Gifts managing your team and every stage of the development process from concept creation to product launch. This is an exciting opportunity to bring innovative and marketleading products to life.
Reporting to the Innovation team this position requires experience in a fastpaced commercial environment with a background in managing product development. Familiarity with the home care or cosmetics industry and a strong eye for branding and design are essential for success.
YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from idea generation to product launch ensuring all deliverables are met on time within scope and budget.
- Monitor the market and consumer trends to identify opportunities for new products.
- You will collaborate closely with internal teams including Sourcing Quality/Regulatory Supply Chain and Marketing to ensure a seamless development process and with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. marketing R&D packaging design teams) to brainstorm and refine product concepts.
- You work directly with external suppliers to oversee design formulation fragrance and packaging development.
- Apply technical knowledge in packaging design fragrance development and product design to guide and inform the product development process.
- Serve as a key liaison between creative teams and technical teams to bridge innovation and feasibility.

- You have at least 5 years relevant experience working in a creative environment e.g. marketing design innovation product development R&D.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Product Development Design or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Experience within fastpaced highvolume industries such as FMCG / Consumer product industry e.g. Cosmetics Fashion Food Beverages.
- Solid technical experience in areas like packaging design fragrance design and product design development is essential.
- You combine both a creative and commercial mind set and have a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously prioritize tasks and deliver results.
- Managing a team of 4 your people and team management skills help in developing a highperforming team.
- You reside in the Netherlands and are eligible to work here.
