Job Description
You will be responsible for planning marketing strategies and partnership initiatives to grow Visas business with Visas clients through the activation of Visa marketing analyses platforms/initiatives and strategic use of sponsorship assets. This Senior Manager is responsible for building partnership relationships with the crossfunctional team including Sales Product Marketing and agencies to deliver bestinclass marketing plans that drive business goals for both Visa and its clients.
This Senior Manager must be able to thrive in a fastmoving highly matrixed environment. You are resultsoriented flexible with a can do positive attitude. Additionally you have a strong track record in working collaboratively and independently with internal team members and external clients.
Essential Functions
- You will lead Visa Marketing Services for Visa Community issuers GSPs and Processors
- You will drive the strategy and oversight of execution of key marketing initiatives to drive client business growth such as lifecycle marketing engagements best practices gotomarket recommendations sponsorship marketing advisory services social/digital marketing etc.
- You will lead marketingrelated project scoping and requirements while aligning with sales and the client
- You will apply datadriven approach to marketing recommendations leveraging Visa data and industry research tools to capture/communicate marketing best practices and customer insights and present to clients
- You will work crossfunctionally to develop and implement marketing projects that leverage the best of Visa resources and expertise (e.g. with Sales Visa Consulting & Analytics Product Marketing Legal etc.)
- You will oversee endtoend delivery of marketing projects working closely with the Marketing Delivery team including escalating any deliverables updating timelines and communicating changes to stakeholders with limited supervisory oversight
- You will support the key products/marketing initiatives e.g. product launch NFL/Olympics promotion Financial Football/Soccer conversion marketing contactless marketing etc.
- You will manage ad hoc requests from key stakeholders e.g. clients Visa senior leadership etc.
- You will manage the budget/finance process as part of the program oversight and management working closely with Marketing Delivery
- You will be responsible for project timelines and budget management
- You will track and manage program results
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred qualifications
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
You have significant experience in marketing in the financial services or payments sector working in a fastmoving environment
You have prior experience in business development
You have prior experience in designing and executing multichannel marketing campaigns (i.e. paid social search engine marketing paid social email direct mail etc.) across the marketing lifecycle (acquisition usage retention loyalty)
You have strong executive presence and comfort leading discussions with clients
You have strong analytical skills and feel comfortable translating data into marketing strategy
You have Strong written and inperson communication skills
You are a team player with experience coordinating cross functional endtoend projects that included a high level of detail and ability to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met
You are selfmotivated and proactive in asking questions / proposing solutions
You have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel Power Point and Word
You are willing to travel
Additional Information :
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 134900.00 to 175000.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
