We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic Technology Engineer to join our dynamic team at Delkia.
Overview of the role
The Technology Engineer (R&D) will work as part of technology and project teams to perform technology research and demonstration tasks within the Delka R&D department.
We are a small developing team and as such the successful candidate will be expected to work across a wide scope of technologies and integration and demonstration tasks. Our current portfolio encompasses vehicle control autonomy and uncrewed air vehicles.
You will employ sound systems engineering practice and play a role in ensuring technology developments meet safety environmental security regulations and best practice. You will assist senior engineers or managers in planning and organising research tasks and in interfacing with suppliers partners and customers and will be responsible for delivering against assigned tasks.
We welcome applications from candidates with all levels of experience and are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with skill / knowledge in one or more of: Systems Engineering Software Engineering Mission Systems Control Systems Autonomy Modelling and Simulation.
All the following skills will be of interest: Software development embedded computing aeronautical engineering systems integration operational analysis motion control systems robotics synthetic environments digital twinning.
