Job Description

The Housekeeping Team Leader is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms public areas and facilities in the hotel ensuring high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction. This role involves supervising the housekeeping team conducting inspections managing inventory and addressing guest complaints. The Housekeeping Team Leader plays a vital role in upholding the hotels policies and procedures while fostering a positive work environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor staff attendance payroll and room cleaning productivity to maintain costeffectiveness and efficiency.
  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms public areas and facilities to ensure cleanliness and alignment to brand standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of stocks guest supplies and linens to prevent loss.
  • Handle guest complaints by establishing positive relationships with guests and addressing their needs promptly.

Qualifications :

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise and motivate the housekeeping team while maintaining disciplinary control.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for cleanliness and ability to conduct thorough inspections of rooms and public areas.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills to handle guest complaints liaise with staff and report to management.
  • Organization and Technology Skills: Proficiency in using IT Systems such as Microsoft Suite HotSOS or other software to manage inventory scheduling and ensure efficient use of equipment.
  • ProblemSolving Abilities: Capacity to address issues promptly recommend improvements and ensure a high standard of service.
